My Sonic Lab MC Cartridge Eminent Solo low impedance type made in JAPAN New
Description
With Eminent's shocking debut, demand for a monaural playback cartridge increased among record lovers, and the monaural cartridge "Eminent Solo", which takes full advantage of the characteristics of the revolutionary core material "SH-μX", was released. I was born.
Since a monaural record is a horizontal signal with one channel, the MC cartridge can also be driven by a single-coil single-channel drive, but considering today's audio system configurations, it is more difficult to switch to a single-channel connection each time, and monaural playback is difficult. However, both channels are driven by a stereo system.
The problem here is the connection circuit from the output terminal of the cartridge to the MC transformer and both channels of the phono amplifier.
Naturally, the cold (earth) line between these lines is a double-wire connection, so the earth line is divided into left and right sides by the cartridge, guided by the amplifier's ground potential or the turntable's ground potential (mostly unprotected). becomes a loop circuit, and a large or small loop noise (a hum or a buzz containing high frequencies) is generated.
If the MC transformer has a ground circuit floating switch (equipped on Stage 1030, 302, and 202), this loop circuit can be interrupted, but systems without this circuit will suffer from noise.
Therefore, in order to output independent signals to the left and right channels, Eminent Solo uses double coils (2 coils) wound at the same time to cut off the common ground between channels, so there is no room for loop circuits to occur. .
Furthermore, due to the high capability of SH-μX, there is no need to sacrifice output voltage.
Therefore, a high-quality monaural signal without loop noise is output between both channels, enabling sufficient energy regeneration.
With this Eminent Solo, you can fully enjoy monaural discs from the 1940s to 1960s, which are said to be a treasure trove of great performances, masterpieces, and rare records.
In addition, Eminent Solo uses a conical stylus with a tip radius of 1 mil (25 μm) and a duralumin cantilever, aiming for the most stable playback in the orthodox manner.

from 19 reviewsVery quick mailing/delivery … packaged very thoroughly with abundance of bubble wrap 👍 the item in pristine condition… very easy and professional transaction… all the way from Japan even! Would definitely do business with them again.
Have done some test, love Takatsuki and also very responsive and trusted seller! Already bought 4 300b's of them and tested well with my RoeTest v11 professional tube Tester!
I bought this guitar and I am very happy with it. It had to travel half of the globe, but the shipping was fast and the seller answered all my questions via e-mail.
The guitar itself has a chunky Fretboard, but is playable with ease. As far I can tell, the electronics seem to be all good, stamp on the pickup is right, it needs more playing for further statements.
And to my biggest surprise: the guitar came almost perfectly intonated fresh out of box.
I highly recommend to at least get in touch with the seller if you're interested in one of his products.
