Swivel Spring Tight

A new mechanism designed to maximize the effect of the spring. The axis that fixes the lower end of the spring rotates (swivels) in accordance with the movement of the pedal, so the spring always expands and contracts vertically without distortion even with intense movement. This converts the elastic energy stored in the spring into energy that moves the pedal without loss. In addition, by reducing the friction at the connection part with the spring, we have achieved ideal pedal work that is light to press and quick to return.

Hinge Guard Block

The method of fixing the bearings on both ends of the hinge shaft has been changed from the conventional method of penetrating from the side of the footboard to a method of holding the bearings by sandwiching them above and below. By distributing the force applied to the bearing when the pedal is pressed, the load on the bearing shaft itself is reduced. Oiles Bearing Hinge

Cobra Coil Cobra Coil is an original TAMA mechanism that provides a light feeling of stepping by assisting the return after stepping on the footboard. This mechanism, set between the footboard and the underplate, is designed to touch the back of the footboard just before the beater hits the bass drum head. This supports the return without affecting the stepping, allowing for light footwork.

Speedo-Ring & Quick-Hook High-precision ball bearings attached to the connection between the spring and shaft. This bearing converts the elastic energy generated by the force of stepping on the footboard into rotational energy of the cam without waste. Furthermore, it precisely follows the movement of the spring, so the movement of the foot and the movement of the footboard are linked to achieve a smoothness. In addition, the Quick-Hook that connects the bearing and spring can be easily removed, so the pedal can be stored compactly in the case without removing the beater.

Super Stabilizer Design

The frame that supports the shaft that drives the cam and beater, which can be said to be the skeleton of the pedal, has been expanded by about 15 mm in width, and the width of the underplate that supports the entire pedal has been expanded by about 12 mm from the previous model. By significantly improving stability, you can obtain a uniform action without shaking even with intense pedal work.

TAMA's original clamp, which securely holds bass drum hoops of various thicknesses, has been upgraded. By attaching rubber to the tip that secures the bass drum hoop, the grip strength is increased, and it exerts a strong fixing force while suppressing damage to the hoop. In addition, the tip of the beater moves in three dimensions, so even if the front of the bass drum is extremely raised, the tip fits according to the angle and stabilizes the pedal. In addition, the T-bolt that is tightened when fixing the pedal can be operated from the side of the footboard, so the pedal can be attached and detached while sitting on the stool.

Power-Strike Cobra Beater

A newly designed Cobra beater with a smaller and thicker felt area that hits the head. It enhances the body resonance of the bass drum, obtains a thick core sound, and emphasizes the attack by flattening the felt surface.
