Description
Epiphone is pleased to announce the reissue of the 150th Anniversary Wilshire, the latest limited edition model to celebrate Epiphone's 150th anniversary.
Since its introduction in 1959, the Wilshire has been Epiphone's most successful solid-body electric guitar of the original design. The asymmetrical solid mahogany double cutaway body design ensures smooth fingering in the high position for the player. The neck is made of mahogany, the fingerboard is an Indian laurel fingerboard, and the grip shape is a comfortable-to-play 60s slim taper D profile. The headstock is designed in the famous "batwing" style and is equipped with Wilkinson 6-row tuners with metal buttons. As for the electronics, two U.S.-made Gibson Mini Humbuckers are employed, wired to a CTS potentiometer, a Switchcraft 3-way toggle switch, and a 1/4" output jack. The included 150th Anniversary Historic Hardshell Case features the Epiphone 150th Anniversary logo.
*The image is a sample. Please note that the graininess of the wood grain may vary from one guitar to another due to the nature of this product.
