Description

Joe Bonamassa and Epiphone Collaboration. The 1962 ES-335 model, to which Joe himself has a strong attachment, is now available!

In the world of guitars, there are times when one particular model shines more special than others. When a model has been owned and played by a world-class guitarist/guitar collector like Joe Bonamassa, it takes on a special feel.

In 1996, Joe purchased a 1962 ES 335 in red finish, which he used to record his first solo album, A New Day Yesterday. In 2001, however, he gave it up in tears to finance his move from New York to Los Angeles. Then, coincidentally, on the 20th anniversary of Joe's first album, he received a fateful and unexpected phone call. Thus, the red-finish ES-335 that played on his first solo album and led him to the West Coast was once again in Joe's possession. Biting his lip at the good fortune of having it again, Joe vowed to keep it with him for the rest of his life.

The Epiphone Joe Bonamassa 1962 ES-335 was built in honor of the legendary guitarist and his beloved instrument: 1-piece mahogany neck, Indian laurel fingerboard, rounded rounded C neck profile, Gibson Burstbucker Type 2/ Type 3 pickups, CTS potentiometers and Mallory capacitors, Switchcraft pickup selector toggle switch and output jack, Maestro vibrato A special hard case with Epiphone and Joe Bonamassa design and a special certificate will be included.
