Based on the Gibson ES-355, the favorite guitar of Shinichi Ubukata, one of Japanʼs leading guitar heroes, the Epiphone Shinichi Ubukata ES-355 inherits many of the same specifications and maintains the quality of that model while achieving a higher cost-performance ratio.
The ES-355 is equipped with two Gibson ʼ57 Classic pickups, a six-position Varitone switch, Bigsby B70 vibrato, ebony fingerboard, and Grover rotomatic tuners. This time, under Mr. Ikugata's supervision, a new color variation has been added.
The Ebony version is now available in Sixties Cherry, Classic White, Olive Drab, and Pelham Blue, for a total of five colors.
