ESP PA-TO08-20th Takayoshi Ohmura Signature Model To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Takayoshi Ohmura's debut we will release a signature pick with an original shape. The pick released this time adopts the original shape that Ohmura himself arrived at through trial and error. The pick is made of polyacetal and is thin at 0.8mm. With conventional jazz and teardrop types the thumb and index finger can hold the pick tightly so the strings feel strong resistance when picking and strength and speed are required to swing the strings through. By cutting the grip part into a mountain shape the pick movement becomes soft and smooth while keeping the grip form the same and the string resistance is weakened as if you were using an extremely thin pick so you can easily swing the strings through. This makes it easier to control the sound and grain from a light touch to a firm touch. Due to its unique shape you may feel the size is small or the touch is not smooth at first but by the time you finish playing one song you will not be able to go back to other picks.
