Description

The CF-R EX, a compatible fader for the Vestax CF-R replacement fader, is now available!

This interchangeable fader (45mm pitch) was commonly used on many DJ mixers, including vintage Vestax mixers and mixers other than the PMC-05PRO and later 2-channel performance mixers.

The CF-20R fader, which was installed on the PMC-20, became the basic fader, and later became the common CF-R fader. The CF-R US, a lighter version of the CF-R, is now mounted on performance 2CH mixers, but the CF-R US and CF-R are electrically identical, with the only difference being the stiffness of the movement.

Cautions when replacing CF-R EX

The CF-R EX does not come with a crossfader panel, screws, or knobs. Please remove the crossfader panel, screws, and knobs originally installed on the mixer and reuse them.

Use a Phillips screwdriver with a fine tip that matches the size of the Phillips slot in the screw head.

If the screw is licked and the hole is so round that the tip of the Phillips head screwdriver cannot fit through it, we recommend that you contact a repair shop. (If you are dexterous enough to destroy the screw with a drill, please try at your own risk.)

When removing or installing the connector, be careful not to remove the contact point between the connector and the wire.

Do not pull only the wires. Hold only the white connector with your fingertips.

A thin flat-blade screwdriver may be used to successfully remove the connector. Insert it into a small gap and rotate it (leverage principle), etc... If you have thick fingers, please try this at your own risk.

We will not be able to support the installation or compensate for installation failure.
