Fender FSR made in JAPAN Traditional 1951 Nocaster Butterscotch Blonde w/gig bag
Fender FSR made in JAPAN Traditional 1951 Nocaster Butterscotch Blonde w/gig bag
Description
This is a limited edition model that upgrades the standard Japanese fender model to popular specifications!
The head logo is a no-caster specification with a top decal of "Fender" only and flat-head screws.
Based on the MADE IN JAPAN TRADITIONAL 50s TELECASTER, this special model has the following upgrades and more closely reproduces the specifications of the 1951 model.
■Custom Shop ’51 Nocaster Pickup
Equipped with a Custom Shop made '51 Nocaster Pickup. A popular pickup that continues to be a long-seller, reproducing the deep tone of 50's Fender. The rear pickup is a flat hole piece, reproducing the characteristics of the time.
■Ash body
The body material has been upgraded from basswood to ash. Ash's "light" tone with good response is a true Fender sound.
■7.25" radius
In recent years, the gentle fingerboard radius of 9.5 has become mainstream, regardless of whether it is made in Japan or the USA, but we have adopted a 7.25 radius, which has many die-hard fans. The "inatai" sound typical of Fender is attractive.
■Upholstered logo decal
This is a MADE IN JAPAN TRADITIONAL series that is usually painted after applying Fender decals, but this model, like the 1960, CustomShop, and AMerican Original, has Fender decals applied over the painting.
■"No"caster logo
The head logo is only "Fender" like the original Nocaster. The head logo of the 1950 Broadcaster was a "Fender" and "Broadcaster" decal, but since "Broadcaster" was registered as a Gretsch trademark at the time, Fende ships without the "Broadcaster" decal. This specification continued until the Telecaster was born in 1952, and since there was no model name, it came to be called "No" caster.

from 18 reviewsVery quick mailing/delivery … packaged very thoroughly with abundance of bubble wrap 👍 the item in pristine condition… very easy and professional transaction… all the way from Japan even! Would definitely do business with them again.
Have done some test, love Takatsuki and also very responsive and trusted seller! Already bought 4 300b's of them and tested well with my RoeTest v11 professional tube Tester!
I bought this guitar and I am very happy with it. It had to travel half of the globe, but the shipping was fast and the seller answered all my questions via e-mail.
The guitar itself has a chunky Fretboard, but is playable with ease. As far I can tell, the electronics seem to be all good, stamp on the pickup is right, it needs more playing for further statements.
And to my biggest surprise: the guitar came almost perfectly intonated fresh out of box.
I highly recommend to at least get in touch with the seller if you're interested in one of his products.
