■Flamed Maple top / African Mahogany body

The 3D arched SR body uses African mahogany for the body and back, flame maple for the wing section of the top of the body, and a combination of flame maple and bubinga for the center section. Masu. This material was chosen for the rich mid-low range characteristics that are essential for bass sounds, as well as the attack and crisp high range characteristics.

■Atlas 5pc Panga Panga/Purpleheart neck with KTS™ TITANIUM rods

The 5pc neck is laminated with Panga Panga wood and Purple Heart wood, and KTS™ TITANIUM rods are used to increase neck rigidity and sustain.

A slim neck that produces a clear sound image and a sense of attack, and has been shaped to the ultimate in an easy-to-grip design for all players.

■Flamed Maple fretboard

We have chosen the rare and valuable flame heathered maple wood for the fingerboard.

The position mark is a blue oval shape.

■Premium Fret Edge Treatment

By applying spherical processing to the fret edges, the resistance of the fret edges to the fingers during fingering is reduced, achieving a higher level of playing comfort.

■Nordstrand™ Big Break pickups

Modeled after the excellent tonal character of the Big Single, the soap bar-shaped pickup adopts a split-coil structure with high noise-cancelling effects, creating a tighter high range sound and a boomier sound in the low range. This is a jointly developed pickup by Ibanez and Nordstrand™.

The 5-string model is designed to balance the bass and treble strings by placing a dummy magnet and achieve low noise.

In fact, many SR models were originally equipped with two split coils, and this model is full of SR characteristics that inherits that tradition.

■Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ w/EQ bypass switch & Mid frequency switch

This is an equalizer that produces active sound with wide range and low noise. (006P alkaline battery powered)

By switching the switch, the midrange frequency band, which is the key to bass sound, can be changed to 250Hz, 450Hz, or 700Hz.

It is also equipped with an EQ bypass switch, allowing it to be used as a passive bass. (When bypassed: Tone control with Treble knob)

■Gotoh® machine heads

Gotoh machine head has a reputation for high precision, smoothness, tuning stability.

■MR5S bridge

The MR5S (monorail) bridge is equipped with a string pitch adjustment mechanism.

Each string has an independent bridge, which transmits string vibrations directly to the body.

Additionally, the saddle can be moved left and right by ±1.5mm, allowing the space between the strings (interstring pitch) to be adjusted within the range of movement.
