We would like to offer bass players to create their own overdrive sound. We want bass players to enjoy the true Tubescreamer sound. The Tubescreamer was developed exclusively for bass players with these themes in mind, and in addition to two controls for bass (low range) and treble (high range), the mix ratio between clean and distortion components can be adjusted to eliminate the "distortion without contour" that is often found in bass overdrive. The MIX control allows the mix ratio of clean and distortion components to be adjusted, making it easier to avoid the "distortion without contour" that is often seen in bass overdrive.
