The shell-integrated IKEDA SAI is the successor to the IKEDA 9MUSA-U and was completed after a long period of development.

It is the most typical IKEDA product, successfully achieving both the raw sound reproduction characteristic of IKEDA cartridges and the high tracing capability that was not possible with the cantilever-less structure that was once synonymous with IKEDA cartridges.

With this success, it can be said that for the first time, IKEDA no longer needs to insist on a cantileverless structure.

The sound tuning is thorough, with a shell-integrated enclosure made of a combination of hard natural quince wood, pure copper, and aluminum, and copper plating on the magnetic circuits.

The Boron cantilever solves the problem of deflection, the stylus tip has a special cross-sectional shape that accurately traces even the ultra-high frequencies, and the carefully designed high-power, high-efficiency generator circuitry produces a precise yet lively "Ikeda sound" that is full of charm and appeal.
