Since its release, the popular fog lamps that can change the color of light depending on the weather, the "IPF Dual Color Fog Lamp Bulb", have evolved!!
On dry roads at night, the white light (6500K) emits a bright and fashionable light.
And on wet roads in bad weather, the highly visible yellow light is now even darker at 2400K (Kelvin).
This "Dual Color Fog Lamp Bulb" has realized two ideals in one bulb.
With conventional yellow LED bulbs, the light was synthesized by combining a warm white LED with a yellow filter, so if you wanted to change the color of the light, you had to replace the bulb itself.
This product combines two colors of LEDs optimized for fog lamps with IPF's proud light distribution technology and a newly developed switching control function to produce a product.

■White light/Yellow light - Optimized light distribution for each color (Patent No. 6161846)
By simply arranging two LED chips, one with white light and one with yellow light, the original light-emitting point position and shape will be misaligned, and optimal light distribution will not be obtained.
To solve this problem, IPF assumes the ideal light distribution pattern required by the usage situation of each light-emitting color.
By repeatedly performing light distribution simulations to realize this light distribution pattern, we pursued the optimal layout of the LED chips.
In the F series, the irradiation range when emitting white light and when emitting yellow light is the same. You can select white light on dry roads and yellow light on wet roads with poor visibility, ensuring a clear view without changing the irradiation angle.
■Easy switching of light color with genuine fog lamp switch (patent pending)
This product can be installed by plugging it in, just like a normal LED fog lamp bulb.
No need to run additional wiring or add a switch. You can switch the light color by operating the genuine switch.
The secret is the driver unit with a built-in microcomputer.
The light color can be changed by turning the fog lamp switch from OFF to ON twice in a row.
This product also stores the previous light color in the memory built into the microcomputer, so when the light is turned on again, it will light up with the same light color as before it was turned off.

Conventional LED bulbs had a "light distribution adjustment screw" that adjusts the light distribution installed inside the lamp body, so the angle could not be adjusted unless the bulb was removed from the lamp body.
This required repeated installation, removal, and angle adjustment until the exact angle was determined, which reduced work efficiency.
The dual color fog lamp bulb has been redesigned to include a "light distribution adjustment screw" at the rear of the bulb, outside the lamp body.
It is now possible to easily adjust the bulb without removing it once it has been installed.
In addition, you can adjust the light while watching the light emitted when the lamp is on, making the work more accurate and easier.
This is an IPF-exclusive mechanism that is thoroughly committed to light distribution.
