monotron DELAY is an analog synthesizer specializing in sound effects. In addition to an oscillator, filter, and LFO, it has a delay, which is indispensable for spacy sounds. It even reproduces the pitch changes that occur when the delay time is changed, just like an analog tape echo. The fat and warm delay sound can be used to create pleasing sound effects.
The LFO waveform that oscillates the pitch has a square waveform in addition to the triangle waveform. The triangle wave can be adjusted from saw up to saw down, and the square wave can be continuously adjusted in duty ratio, allowing a wide variety of sounds to be created. Combined with a delay, it can be used like a siren machine and is effective for adding liveliness to a song.
It is equipped with the highly acclaimed VCF circuit used in Korg's MS-10 and MS-20, the famous machines of yesteryear. In addition, the monotron DELAY employs the same filter as the MS-10/20 in the DELAY FEEDBACK. This powerful filter, unique to analog, gives a dramatic change to the sound and gives it a strong character that will not be buried on stage at live performances and events.
A small speaker is mounted on the main unit. The compact size and battery operation make it easy to take this unit anywhere and anytime for enjoyment. In addition, sound from a digital audio player or other device input through the external input terminal can be output from the speakers along with the sound of monotron DELAY.
