The PHONE function on the MW-2408/MW1608 allows the musician to boost the track they want to hear with a single knob. Just turn the "more me" knob dedicated to the monitor mix. There is no need to change the main mix settings or use a bus
■Digital Effects
The KORG MIXER features no less than 24 digital effects using high-quality KORG custom chips based on KORG's decades of expertise. 6 reverb effects have "WARM" assigned to them, a convenient and welcome feature for KORG users of yesteryear. All effect parameters can be adjusted, saved, recalled, and activated with an optional footswitch (PS-1 or PS-3). 24-band spectrum analyzer plus a convenient test tone generator.
■Digital Signal Processor Part
No need to scroll through long menus to find the EQ Other control functions, individual L/R, are assigned to AUX1 and AUX2 with buttons for both equalization and dynamics, making mixing easy.
The Limiter, Compressor, and Noise Gate are all good quality and sensitive. Each solves para-acoustic problems.
