Lone Wolf Blues Company Overdrive for Harmonica Harp Attack

Description

Brand New

The Lone Wolf Harp Attack is a pedal for creating true power tube distortion.
Unlike most tube preamps that use triode tubes, this pedal uses an ultra-compact beam power tube. This tube creates the same type of distortion as a 6V6 or 6L6 power tube.
It features a fat, punchy tone, the tone of which can be freely adjusted with three knobs.
It also has an input buffer with an input impedance of 10 MΩ, which is suitable for crystal microphones and other high-impedance microphones.
The Drive control adjusts the saturation of the power tube, and the active Tone control is tuned for harp and has a 20 dB range. The pedal output is buffered by a FET amplifier.

Harp Attack meets the various needs of harp players. For example, the pedal produces a real power tube drive sound, so you can get the distortion of a bassman or other tube amps when you output directly to a PA. It backs up your harp amp.
The pedal doesn't create high-gain distortion, but a smooth overdriven tone. It is perfect for carrying around in a harp case for jamming, or for combining multiple pedals to create your own unique harp tone.

Harp Attack can be connected last in the effects pedal to create a tone similar to a power tube sound, but it is up to the player to decide how to connect it. In fact, more and more players are using the Harp Attack on their European tours.

The microphone-like characteristics of the ultra-compact beam power tube may produce some noise when the bypass switch is operated, but the volume is minimal and quickly disappears again. Please be careful not to kick off the pedals as much as possible while playing a piece of music. In fact, they have been used in professional settings and on actual tours without any particular problems.

■Settings
Setting up this pedal is very easy. To create a clean tone, turn the Drive knob counterclockwise. Turning it clockwise increases distortion and volume at the same time.
Tone is an active control that allows you to adjust the frequency range of the amp.

Power Supply
Harp Attack is powered by two 9V batteries or an 18VDC adapter. The adapter should be 18VDC, 100mA, center-minus 2.1mm x 5.5mm connector (One Control RPA-1000 is included).
When the adapter jack is connected, power is not supplied from the battery. The input jack also serves as the power switch for the entire unit, so please unplug it from the input jack when not in use.
When powered by batteries, the unit can be operated for about 15 hours with two new alkaline 9V batteries.

This pedal is designed for blues harp, but can also be used with guitar. When using it with a guitar, even if the volume knob is turned up to maximum, the output may sound lower than the original sound.

How to use the effector on a blues harp
Be sure to use the 1/4" mono phone jack (TS jack) as the input jack from the microphone. Stereo terminals (TRS terminals) and cannon terminals (XLR terminals) cannot be used.

You may connect the effectors in any order. Try to find the connection or setting that produces the sound you prefer.

Lone Wolf blues harp effectors can be used with either solid-state or tube amps. The output jack is an unbalanced 1/4" mono phone jack (TS jack). The amplifier side should be connected to an input with a high input impedance for instruments, not to a terminal for microphones.

Although it can be used with various types of microphones, since it supports high-impedance inputs, you will need to convert the input from low to high when using a low-impedance type microphone such as the Shure SM58, for example. Also, Phantom power cannot be supplied from the effects pedals.
