Feedback of magnetic circuit technology from the PP-1000

　The magnetic circuit structure incorporates the technology of the flagship model PP-1000, and the materials, processing, and finishing have been greatly refined and cost-consciously improved.

　The magnet has been changed to samarium cobalt, and we have succeeded in reproducing the sense of sound field and vividness of the PP-1000, which had been difficult to reproduce with the P-3.

◆Inheritance of high sound quality body structure

　The duralumin base and body, which were highly acclaimed in the P-3, continue to be used, and DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) treatment* has been applied to the structure for superior rigidity and vibration damping characteristics.

　DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) is a generic term for a thin carbon film with high hardness and electrical insulation properties similar to diamond, synthesized by a vapor phase synthesis method using ions.

◆Inheritance of high sound quality materials

　The PP-1000 inherits the high sound quality materials proven in other models including the PP-1000, such as the cantilever made of solid boron, the generator coil made of 6N oxygen-free copper wire, and the pure iron coil bobbin, all of which have been well-reputed.
