Cartridge inheriting the pedigree of the flagship PP-2000

The PP-2000 is a low-impedance cartridge with an iron-cored coil that delivers high output power. The coil bobbin material is pure iron, which is most desirable in terms of sound quality, and custom-made 35μm diameter 6N oxygen-free copper wire is cross wound left and right on the iron core.

Permendur is used as the magnetic material to realize a highly efficient and uniform magnetic field.

High sound quality materials are used such as a cantilever made of solid boron, a generator coil made of 6N oxygen-free copper wire, a pure iron coil bobbin, and a wire damper.
