Newly designed power generation system

The shape and materials of the power generator system are newly designed for monaural use with high efficiency and high resolution as the theme. The tip of the needle, which is the key for tracing, has a tip radius of 1.0mil. The cantilever is made of aluminum pipe, which is lightweight, strong, and has excellent monaural signal tracing capability. By combining this with a uniquely designed generator coil, we have succeeded in reproducing an excellent sense of sound field and vividness that has been difficult to achieve with conventional monaural cartridges.

Robust body structure

Stainless steel is used for the case and duralumin for the body. DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) treatment* is applied to achieve a structure with excellent rigidity and vibration damping characteristics.

DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) is a generic term for a thin carbon film with high hardness and electrical insulation properties similar to diamond, synthesized by a vapor phase synthesis method using ions.

Inheritance of high sound quality materials

The PP-Mono inherits the same high sound quality materials used in the PP-1000, such as samarium cobalt magnets, 6N oxygen-free copper wire generator coils, and pure iron coil bobbins.

About needle replacement of PP-Mono

When replacing the needle of a cartridge, we will take the original product and replace the needle assembly (the cartridge itself will be used as is). (The cartridge itself is used as is.) When replacing the needle, please bring the original cartridge to us.
