Description
When a vintage guitar has been in production for several decades, wear and tear on parts and other components can cause problems with functionality. When it becomes necessary to replace parts, the fear of many vintage users is that the tone will be completely changed because of the new parts.
We believe that the tremolo spring plays an important role in the thick and firm sound of 50's and 60's vintage guitars, as well as the saddle. The current springs are made with hard and strong tension, which is different from the vintage ones. The first thing you will notice is the difference in outer diameter. Vintage springs are 0.8mm thicker than current ones. We measured the tension of the springs from several manufacturers, both vintage and current, and came up with a value close to that of the vintage springs, which is assumed to be used with 5 or 4 springs. The increased weight also produces a thicker, firmer sound and better reverb. We analyzed and researched the actual vintage springs together with the spring manufacturer to achieve that warm and fat tone. Of course, it can be used as a replacement part for current reissue guitars, etc. Even if you do not own a vintage guitar, you will be able to enjoy its performance that is closer to the real thing.

from 20 reviewsVery quick mailing/delivery … packaged very thoroughly with abundance of bubble wrap 👍 the item in pristine condition… very easy and professional transaction… all the way from Japan even! Would definitely do business with them again.

Have done some test, love Takatsuki and also very responsive and trusted seller! Already bought 4 300b's of them and tested well with my RoeTest v11 professional tube Tester!

I bought this guitar and I am very happy with it. It had to travel half of the globe, but the shipping was fast and the seller answered all my questions via e-mail.
The guitar itself has a chunky Fretboard, but is playable with ease. As far I can tell, the electronics seem to be all good, stamp on the pickup is right, it needs more playing for further statements.
And to my biggest surprise: the guitar came almost perfectly intonated fresh out of box.
I highly recommend to at least get in touch with the seller if you're interested in one of his products.
