REAR STIFF PLATE KIT, JW5

Product Number: 50400-JW5-000


The S660's factory rear subframe is made of die-cast aluminum, boasting rigidity and precision more than adequate for a kei car. While each suspension arm pivot is highly rigid, we've boxed the body-side mounting points of the trailing arms to further enhance traction and a premium ride. This achieves a more rigid rear section.


The plate was created using a custom press mold designed using 3D CAD, and 1.6mm-thick JSC780 ultra-high-tensile steel was hydraulically formed using an 800t press.


The gaps in the body-side bolt holes where the plate is attached are completely filled with custom collars, achieving a rigidity similar to that of a rigid collar.


This delivers linear, reliable traction control and a premium, supple ride.
