The foundation of SPOON's balanced overall setup is first creating the ideal body.


The new Civic features a newly developed, high-rigidity platform with an inner frame, ensuring sufficient body rigidity. However, by further improving the body-to-subframe fastening strength, even higher levels of driving performance can be achieved.


By using rigid collars for the subframe fastening bolt holes and integrating the body, subframe, and lower arm mounting points with rigid plates, the car's inherent body rigidity is maximized, resulting in natural suspension work and direct, stable handling.


Increasing body rigidity does not result in a stiff ride; rather, it maximizes the suspension's inherent movement, resulting in a supple, high-quality ride.


The material used is JSC780 ultra-high-tensile steel, typically used for the body frame, and is formed using an 800-ton hydraulic press. Three plates are spot-welded and finished with a cathodic paint finish similar to the OEM parts.


REMARKS

Installation is a bolt-on process with no modification required, and the OEM underpanel can also be used.

Compatible with the Civic 1.5T Sedan (FC1 Japan spec) by using the OEM brace bar (50290-TGN-E00) for the Civic Type R (FK8).
