Twin-Block Caliper Set

The twin-block caliper reduces unsprung weight from approximately 5,200 g for the standard caliper to approximately 2,400 g. Its opposed four-piston design with different piston diameters improves braking control and tire contact while reducing stress on the brakes and tires.

Notes:
■ Direct bolt-on installation is available for EK9, DC2 and DB8 ('98 Spec). The brake pads use the same shape as the standard EK9 pads.
■ Vehicles with standard brake rotors of 282 mm or smaller require large-diameter brake rotors (45251-4H1014).
■ EG6, GE8 and GK5 require large-diameter brake rotors (45251-4H1014) and inner spacers (45250-T03AL).
■ ZF1 and ZF2 require brake rotors (45251-EK9-000).
■ The opposed-piston calipers are wider than the standard calipers and may interfere with some wheels. Spacers may be required, which may cause the tires to protrude beyond the fenders.
