Description
A distortion pedal born in collaboration with Michael Landau!
The Butter Machine was developed in collaboration with Michael Landau to create his ideal distortion pedal, and over the past two years, numerous prototypes have been produced. This is Michael Landau's signature distortion pedal, completed through repeated adjustments based on feedback from Michael Landau himself who actually used it in the field. By repeatedly testing it not only at his own live performances, sessions, and support sites, but also at numerous recording studios and his home studio in Los Angeles, new ideas were implemented and various improvements were made. As a result, a distortion pedal that is very usable and has a range of overdrive and distortion that does not limit the usage scene was completed. It is a new distortion pedal that makes it easy to add dynamics to the sound and allows you to control picking nuances on the guitar side.
[Comment from Michael Landau himself]
For a very long time, I have been using the SD9 as my main distortion pedal, but this pedal has a mixture of "slightly" good and bad parts, and I have always been troubled by it. For example, if the pedal knobs are not set precisely, the compression can be too strong, or the sound can become too treble and sharp. So a few years ago, I asked Daiya (TriSound representative) if he could design a distortion pedal that takes the good parts of the SD9 sound quality as a reference, but without the excessive compression and sharp high end.
At the beginning, we started by taking the good parts of the SD9 sound as a reference, but through repeated trial and error during development, the new Vemuram distortion pedal has implemented various improvements and ideas. In addition to the three knobs for gain, volume, and tone, there are two trim pots on the top, which allow you to tweak the tone in a unique way that is not often seen in other distortion pedals.
The final version of the Vemuram distortion pedal has an overdrive sound that is so open and natural that it is perfect for me, the "Feeling". It has plenty of gain and sustain, and even when you turn down the guitar volume, it still has a clear, punchy sound. You can also easily adjust the overdrive sound (distortion) while still maintaining a musical element.
We named this pedal "Butter Machine." You'll understand why when you play this pedal. We'll give you a very satisfying sound experience!
*The "Butter sound" of Butter Machine refers to the pleasant guitar distortion sound that is slang among LA musicians and guitarists.

from 20 reviewsVery quick mailing/delivery … packaged very thoroughly with abundance of bubble wrap 👍 the item in pristine condition… very easy and professional transaction… all the way from Japan even! Would definitely do business with them again.

Have done some test, love Takatsuki and also very responsive and trusted seller! Already bought 4 300b's of them and tested well with my RoeTest v11 professional tube Tester!

I bought this guitar and I am very happy with it. It had to travel half of the globe, but the shipping was fast and the seller answered all my questions via e-mail.
The guitar itself has a chunky Fretboard, but is playable with ease. As far I can tell, the electronics seem to be all good, stamp on the pickup is right, it needs more playing for further statements.
And to my biggest surprise: the guitar came almost perfectly intonated fresh out of box.
I highly recommend to at least get in touch with the seller if you're interested in one of his products.
