A unique guitar that brings together VOX technology
The APC-1 is a unique guitar with speakers that follows the shape of the legendary guitar released by VOX in the 1960s. It is equipped with an analog circuit amplifier that makes use of the amplifier manufacturing technology that VOX has accumulated so far, and also has the rhythm machine functions and effects used in VOX's digital modeling amplifier VOX MINI GO. This guitar is a culmination of VOX's know-how of combining analog and digital, and is packed with the know-how of VOX products to date. Since it is equipped with all the functions necessary to produce sound, you can play with just this guitar without needing to prepare an amplifier or effecter. It can be easily used in the living room, outdoors, or as a travel guitar, and can be carried anywhere.
The amplifier section, which is the key to the sound, has been redesigned to match the speaker unit of the APC-1, based on the legendary tone of the VOX AC30. By sticking to the analog circuitry of this amplifier section, a full-fledged sound has been achieved. In addition, by installing a multi-stage gain circuit, the complex distortion seen in vacuum tube amplifiers is perfectly reproduced. The amp-like control section allows for a wide range of sound making, from clean to crunch and drive sounds. Another unique feature of this instrument is that it allows you to control an easy-to-use overdrive-type distortion sound with the GAIN knob, rather than the fuzz-type distortion that is common in guitars with speakers.

Uses wide-directional speakers
Equipped with wide-directional speakers made by Tectonic Audio Labs. With a full range of 100Hz-20kHz and a wide directivity that sends sound in a 180° direction, the speaker has a structure that allows the sound to be heard well even if it is not in front of the speaker. It is easy for the player to hear the sound, so it can be said to be a perfect speaker to install on a guitar. In addition, guitars with speakers up until now had weaknesses such as "lack of bass" and "prone to feedback", but by equipping the newly designed guitar enclosure with a passive radiator, the sound quality is much better than that of ordinary guitars with speakers. In addition, by making the speaker unit a seismic isolation structure, it is a structure that is resistant to feedback, which is a drawback of guitars with speakers. It is truly a next-generation guitar with speakers that outputs a wide range of sounds from low to high in a well-balanced manner while also achieving measures against feedback from the enclosure.
Equipped with effects and rhythm machine
The effects and rhythm machine follow the technology of the digital modeling amplifier VOX MINI GO series. Effects include chorus/tremolo/delay/reverb. The delay and reverb also have a tap tempo function. The rhythm machine comes in 11 genres including metronome. Each genre has 3 variations, and a total of 33 rhythm patterns are built in.
Vintage refined shape
One of the main features is the body design that is reminiscent of the vintage VOX guitars released in the 1960s. The head shape has also been newly designed by arranging the products from that time.
