Furthermore, the thin body and cutaway, extra frets, etc., which pursue playability, make it easy to switch from an electric guitar. This electric acoustic guitar can express not only the sound of a realistic acoustic guitar, but also a variety of sounds and tones.
Pickup
Another saddle type in-house piezo pickup with independent elements for each string

It is equipped with a pickup system that allows you to set the sound of a realistic acoustic guitar with sound quality as if you were recording in a studio.
The pickup body is equipped with an in-house made piezo pickup with an independent element method for each string that captures the vibration of the string more accurately, just like the 500II series.
By separating the saddle and the pickup element, it is easier to adjust the string height than before.
Preamp control panel
The preamp section, which can be said to be the heart of an electric acoustic guitar, uses a newly developed in-house made preamp optimized for each of the three types of pickup. In addition, the power supply has been changed from the conventional 9V type dry cell to two easily available AA dry cells, and the circuit has been revised to stabilize the supply voltage and expand the dynamics. In addition, the control panel design of all grades is unified with the same simple and functional taste as the SRT top model "LJX26CP".

Extra fret
In the APX1000, part of the highest note of the fingerboard has been changed to protrude into the sound hole. This style was also used in the original APX, and allows for technical playing with the extra frets on the high strings.
Wood inlay sound hole inlay
Instead of the sound hole ring that was a characteristic of the previous APX, the sound hole of the APX1000 series is decorated with wood inlay that makes use of the rosewood grain. This design makes use of the rich vibration of the top plate unique to solid wood specifications, while creating a calm and luxurious feel.

Both the APX and CPX bodies use non-scalloped X-bracing.
