・Alder/Maple/Alder 3-ply body structure

The new BB series has an alder/maple/alder 3-ply body structure. The hard maple material sandwiched between the alder on both sides enriches the midrange and creates a body rumble that blends better with the band's sound. In addition, by using maple for the body material, it is possible to transmit sound that is directly connected to the maple material of the neck, reducing sound loss between the body and neck and reliably absorbing string vibrations.

・I.R.A. (Initial Response Acceleration)

I.R.A. (Initial response Acceleration) is a technology that reduces the stress inherent in paints, adhesives, etc. in a completed instrument by applying appropriate vibrations to the instrument, and promotes the vibration of the instrument. As players, you probably know how important it is to ``play'' your instrument. It is said that the more you play, the better the sound. The reason for this is that the stress that occurs between the wood of the neck and fingerboard, between the wood and the coating, and between the wood and the hardware, etc., blends into each other as you play the instrument, making it resonate as one. By applying I.R.A. (Initial response Acceleration) processing, the bass becomes close to the played state and brings out the ideal body sound.

・Miter bolting method

In addition to the four screws that secure the neck vertically from the back of the body, it uses a miter bolting method that adds two screws that secure the neck end at a 45-degree angle from the back of the body. The body and neck are firmly attached to each other, producing an intense sound that combines the body and neck as one. There is less energy loss due to string vibration than a regular bolt-on joint, resulting in rich sustain and overwhelming body resonance.

・Newly developed pickup

The new BB is equipped with a newly developed pickup that matches each model. BB Sound While inheriting the traditional sound, the output gain in the mid-high range has been improved. Achieves clear and well-defined sound. Pickups suitable for each model's unique character enable the highly original and diverse expressions desired by players.

・Convertible type bridge & saddle

Adopts a "strings-through-body" structure that passes the strings through the back of the body. Compared to the general method of passing the strings vertically from the back of the body, by passing the strings at a 45 degree angle, the energy of string vibration is transmitted to the body with less loss. With the general back-passing method, in which the strings are passed from directly under the saddle, there is a large vibration loss at the plate and saddle parts, making it difficult to transmit string vibrations efficiently and reliably.However, by cutting the bottom of the body diagonally, Passing the strings at a 45 degree angle reduces stress on the strings at the saddle.

The BB Pro series is equipped with a vintage plus bridge, delivering sharp and clear sound. The brass saddles of the Vintage Plus bridge provide deep bass, and the steel plates provide bright sound. Metal parts such as springs and screws are made of stainless steel to ensure resistance to rust and corrosion. Furthermore, due to the different contact points of the semi-circular saddle, it responds to a variety of player expressions, from crisp and clear sound to warm sound.
