■Glockenspiel

Carbon steel

- The most standard material for glockenspiel soundboards is specially heat treated to be used in an acoustically optimal state. This type offers excellent cost performance.

Nodal string + 1 pin method

- A method in which a string is passed over a moderately elastic felt to minimize the contact surface with the soundboard and bring out the sound of the soundboard. The soundboard is fixed using a 1-pin method, and is fixed at the acoustically optimal part.

L curve

- The tuning is curved so that the pitch matches when played together with other concert instruments (piano, wind instruments, etc.). The glockenspiel uses an L curve tuning in which only the treble range is tuned higher.

Soundboard size: Standard

- This is the standard size for glockenspiel soundboards. It is suitable for music classes and instrumental ensembles. Width is 25mm (50D)

Standard 2 1/2 octaves

・F57-C88・This is the most standard range. Most songs can be covered with this range.

Resonating box method

・This is the most standard method for glockenspiels, where the entire instrument resonates in a resonating box (case).
