◎Customized 6-string TRB model for John Patitucci!
John Patitucci is known around the world for his super playing with a variety of musicality.
The TRB was customized for John, including a 35-inch (889mm) super long scale, 26 frets, and a special tuned active 5 control system.
■Super long scale 35 inch scale
Scaled up from the previous model's 34 inches to 35 inches. Achieved improved pitch and firmer sound in the bass region, as requested by John Patitucci.
In order to cope with the stress added to the neck due to increased tension when scaling up, a volute (*) is installed on the back of the head, and a quilted maple decorative layer is applied to improve neck strength.
*Volute: The back side of the head and neck base is thick to increase strength.
■Weight balance
Lightweight pegs made of resin are used in consideration of weight balance on the super long scale. In addition, the material of the string post part has been changed from the conventional brass to aluminum to reduce weight.
■26 fret specifications
Along with the scale up, the number of frets has also been changed from the previous 24F specification to 26F specification. By improving the sound in the bass range and expanding the approach to the treble range, we have acquired the possibility of further super play.
■Solid brass bridge
Equipped with a newly developed solid brass bridge that reliably transmits string vibrations to the body with high conduction efficiency. The string pitch is 19mm.

■I.R.A. (Initial Response Acceleration) processing
This technology reduces the stress between the paint, adhesive, wood, and parts by applying vibrations at the optimal vibration frequency unique to each instrument when it is in tune, making it easier to play when it is new.

I bought this guitar and I am very happy with it. It had to travel half of the globe, but the shipping was fast and the seller answered all my questions via e-mail.
The guitar itself has a chunky Fretboard, but is playable with ease. As far I can tell, the electronics seem to be all good, stamp on the pickup is right, it needs more playing for further statements.
And to my biggest surprise: the guitar came almost perfectly intonated fresh out of box.
